Most UNIC students choose to stay at the Bassett-Lowke Halls of Residence as it is conveniently located directly opposite the College. You can walk from your room to UNIC within minutes which is sure to make those early lectures and classes a little less of a shock to the system.
Like UNIC, Bassett-Lowke is located at the University’s Avenue Campus. The halls has bedrooms with private washrooms and each flat usually has six single bedrooms and a communal kitchen. A small number of twin bedrooms with private washroom facilities are available but please note there are less of these rooms so please book well in advance if this is the option you want to go with. All of our rooms are furnished with a bed, desk, wardrobe, bookshelf, chair and bin. The main utility bills for heating, lighting, water and electricity are included within your rent to make it a little easier for you.
A regular free bus service provides easy access to the Waterside Campus and the Town Centre during the week. There is also a supermarket, post office and a range of restaurants and eateries all within walking distance.
